This print, created for the Celebrating All Types print exchange, utilizes a set of nearly 300 custom made wood type ornaments. The ornaments were created from a variable font composed of ornaments inspired by historic typographic ornaments and ornament systems. Approximately 30 glyphs in different variations were used to create each block of type. These were randomly typeset and overprinted in 3 colors making each one unique as a means to represent diversity.
