This print is a combination of digital collage - creating the colorful swirling background from layers of photographs of watercolor and painted backgrounds and portraits - that is first printed on the paper. It was then run through the letterpress with a lock-up of jumbled type, creating the background of orange letters. I ran the poster through the press for each instance of Click-clack, in part due to the limited type in our collection. Finally, I used a photo solvent transfer process to add the wood type arrow from a CC0 photo.
